Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: January 14, 2026


At Zaco Industrial Electric Corp., we stand behind the quality of our industrial electrical solutions. Because our products often involve custom engineering and fabrication, our refund policy is structured as follows:


1. Custom Fabricated Equipment

Items built to order (e.g., custom switchgears, panel boards, motor control centers, and specialized enclosures) are non-refundable once fabrication has commenced.

  • Cancellations: If a project is cancelled after the design phase but before fabrication begins, a "Design & Engineering Fee" (typically 15-20% of the total contract) will be retained.
  • Material Procurement: Any specialized components already purchased for your specific project at the time of cancellation will be billed to the client in full.


2. Standard Off-the-Shelf Parts

For non-customized industrial components (e.g., standard circuit breakers, transformers, or wires) in their original, unopened packaging:

  • Return Window: Returns are accepted within seven (7) working days of delivery.
  • Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to all returned standard items to cover testing and inspection costs.
  • Condition: Items must be in "as-new" condition, with no signs of installation, electrical testing, or mounting.


3. Warranty vs. Refund

If a product is found to be defective due to manufacturing or material faults:

  • We will first attempt to repair or replace the item under our standard Warranty Agreement.
  • Refunds for defective goods are only issued if the item cannot be repaired or replaced within a reasonable timeframe, as determined by our technical team.


4. Service and Labor Fees

Fees for site inspections, electrical audits, and installation labor are non-refundable once the service has been performed.


5. Refund Process

  • Request: All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@zacoindustrial.com with the original Sales Invoice (SI) and Official Receipt (OR).
  • Inspection: No refund will be processed until the equipment has been inspected by a Zaco Industrial Electric Corp. engineer at our facility.
  • Payment: Approved refunds will be processed via [Bank Transfer/Check/Original Mode of Payment] within 15–30 business days.
